France, here I come!

I'm suddenly very driven to do well in the coming school year. I don't really know why.

Yesterday was another day of spontaneity, when Jac Liz and I met up for lunch to catch up (they've spent like, oh my goodness, 6 WEEKS IN EUROPE, MAYBE?). Our day started at Arab Street and ended at my place, in the middle having stopped by Bugis, The Peranakan Museum (this is a funny story), and SAM 8Q.

It's so. nice. to. walk. around. an. empty. museum. I swear, we were the only three in 8Q. So, so nice.

I've never been very fond of contemporary art, but... it depends. On the work, of course. Some of it can be just flat out bizarre, but I suppose most of it can be interpreted in some way or another. And that, to us, was the fun part of exploring 8Q yesterday. Coming up with interpretations that made sense. Or... not. Who cares? I remember we did this too during lit trip 2007 (:D!!!! BEST. TRIP. EVER.) when some of us used our delicious free time in London to visit Tate Modern.

... This post is kiiinda directionless.

Oh yeah. Back to the point about being determined to do well in school. Haha. Now that I'm gonna have 6 hours more lessons per week on top of regular curriculum, I'm going to apply for USP to increase those hours again.

It's fun!

Anyway. I was thinking. If on average an arts student does 5/6 modules per semester, and in every module there are two graded essays, and on top of that I have my French programme, and if I do get into USP then I would have 1/2 more modules per sem...

Then on average I would be writing more than one graded essay per week.

SOMEBODY SHOOT ME.
